Position Overview
SNA Marianapolis International School – Bien Hoa Campus is seeking a dynamic, student-centered and passionate Physical Education Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will deliver a high-quality physical education program aligned with the American curriculum and Advanced Placement (AP) philosophy, promoting students’ physical wellbeing, teamwork, and lifelong fitness habits.
This role involves teaching multi-grade levels (Elementary, Middle, and High School) and contributing to the school’s holistic education mission.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning
Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons aligned with the American curriculum standards.
Develop students’ physical literacy, motor skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Implement differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs.
Promote healthy lifestyles, fitness awareness, and student wellbeing.
Integrate assessment strategies to monitor and report student progress.
Curriculum & Program Development
Contribute to the development of a comprehensive PE curriculum across grade levels.
Support interdisciplinary learning and school-wide wellbeing initiatives.
Organize sports activities, competitions, and school athletic programs.
Student Engagement & Safeguarding
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Maintain appropriate classroom and field management.
Follow school safeguarding and health & safety policies.
Professional Collaboration
Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning and student support.
Participate in professional development and school events.
Communicate effectively with parents and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Certification
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Valid teaching license / certification (US, UK, Canada, Australia or equivalent preferred).
Experience
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in an international or bilingual school environment preferred.
Experience teaching multi-age groups (elementary to high school) is an advantage.
Experience with American curriculum / AP philosophy is highly desirable.
