Grade and Salary: Grade 4: £25,298 - £27,443 actual salary per annum (£29,542 - £32,046 FTE)

Working pattern: 37 hours per week / 39 weeks per year

Contract term: Permanent

The role:

The Pastoral Support Officer will provide support to Heads of Year in pastoral matters and in particular with behavioural issues, safeguarding and parental engagement. The role also involves working closely with vulnerable students in a mentoring and coaching capacity.

The person:

The successful candidate will have experience of mentoring, coaching or working with young people, and experience of successfully working with young people with challenging behaviour. We are looking for someone who has the courage to challenge students to be their best and support in removing barriers to learning to ensure they reach their full potential.
