We are currently seeking a dedicated Middle School Mathematics and Science Specialist (Year 5–8) to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to teach Mathematics within the British curriculum while leading innovative Science learning through Project Based Learning.

Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Science, Education or a related field Recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS or equivalent Minimum of 3 years teaching experience at the middle school level Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for England or an equivalent international curriculum Ability to deliver high-quality Mathematics and Science teaching with a focus on conceptual understanding and reasoning Experience delivering Science through inquiry-based or Project Based Learning approaches Ability to integrate cross-curricular learning, particularly between Mathematics and Science Strong classroom management and communication skills Experience using technology to enhance teaching and learning is preferred Passionate about fostering curiosity, inquiry and deep thinking in Mathematics and Science Commitment to creating a challenging and supportive learning environment where all students can succeed Collaborative mindset with willingness to work closely with colleagues across disciplines Enthusiastic about innovative, future-focused education including experiential and project-based learning Dedicated to developing student agency, independence and a love of learning Committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice If you are enthusiastic about inspiring young learners through innovative teaching methods within an international setting, we invite you to apply for this rewarding role at Astra Academy International School.
