About This Role
Mathematics and Physics Teacher (German Language)

Key Responsibilities & Duties
1. Teaching & Learning
- Develop, prepare, and deliver captivating lessons in Mathematics and Physics that are in line with the school's curriculum.
- Employ a variety of teaching methodologies to cater to diverse learning styles and proficiency levels.
- Integrate language learning objectives with the content of Mathematics and Physics to improve academic language skills in both subjects.
- Effectively leverage educational technology to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
2. Assessment & Reporting
- Design and administer formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress in Mathematics and Physics.
- Provide prompt, constructive, and actionable feedback to students.
- Maintain accurate records of student accomplishments and generate comprehensive student reports.
- Analyze assessment data to inform future teaching practices and intervention strategies.
3. Classroom Management & Student Support
- Create a safe, respectful, inclusive, and stimulating learning atmosphere.
- Establish and maintain clear expectations for student behavior and classroom guidelines.
- Identify and address the individual learning needs of each student, including those who need additional challenges or support.
4. Professional & Community Engagement
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across both academic and administrative areas.
- Actively participate in departmental meetings, school-wide training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress.
- Contribute to the wider school community by taking part in events, clubs, or committees.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Certification
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics/Physics, or a closely related field.
Experience
- A minimum of two years of teaching experience in Mathematics and Physics.
Language Proficiency
- Fluency in German at a native or near-native level.
- Proficiency in English sufficient for collaboration, reporting, and communication within the school setting.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong subject matter expertise in both Mathematics and Physics.
- Outstanding classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with standard educational technologies and platforms.
