Whistler Waldorf School is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Math and Science Teacher for the Junior High program (Grades 9–10). This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) position beginning in September, with a salary range of $59,000–$86,000 CAD per year*, commensurate with experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
The preferred candidate will have:
Certification and Education
Valid BC teaching certification, or eligibility to apply, along with a Bachelor of Education or an equivalent recognized qualification. International credentials may be considered for equivalency.
Teaching Experience
Relevant teaching experience is preferred; however, early-career and newly qualified teachers are encouraged to apply.
Work Authorization
Applicants must already be legally authorized to work in Canada, or have already submitted their work visa or permit application and be awaiting approval. As this position begins in September, candidates who have not yet started the work authorization process are unlikely to be eligible to begin work on time.
