British Primary School of Wilanow

Recruiting Institution

View Full School Profile & Vacancies

The School

Located in the affluent area of Wilanow, the school beautifully combines historical charm with modern facilities, surrounded by trendy cafes, shops, and greenery.

Since our establishment in Autumn 2014, operating from a newly constructed facility on an attractive greenfield site, BSW has expanded from a small cohort of Nursery-aged students to over 400 learners for the 2024/25 academic year, with many year groups having waiting lists.

We are committed to maintaining the highest educational standards and received COBIS Patron's Accreditation in November 2021.

In 2023, BSW became a proud member of the International Schools Partnership.

The Role

We are on the lookout for experienced, British-qualified teachers for our Lower Primary Phase, commonly referred to as KS1. Our teaching team is collaborative, showcasing creativity, adaptability, and enthusiasm; we are excited to welcome new colleagues who will contribute positively to the ethos, character, and framework of our ambitious, values-driven school. Our educational philosophy, reflected in our Walk of the Lion, is centered on Respect, Courage, Cooperation, Consideration, and Nobility.

Our educators are dedicated and passionate about teaching, setting high expectations for all students' progress while being supportive team players within the broader school environment. At BSW, we aim to weave our school values throughout all aspects of our work.

With an enriching outdoor learning program that includes Forest School and sports, our teachers play an essential role in the cultural, educational, and extracurricular activities at the school.

The Candidate

We invite applications from individuals who possess UK teaching qualifications (PGCE or B.Ed.) and have experience with the English National Curriculum, whether in the UK or internationally. QTS is strongly preferred.

The successful candidate will be committed to educational excellence, creative, dynamic, adaptable, and genuinely respectful towards students, colleagues, parents, and the wider community. Recent experience in KS1 is a must.

We Offer

• A motivated, engaged, and well-behaved student body

• An exceptional teaching team

• Class sizes limited to 24

• Well-resourced classrooms

• Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and INSET to encourage innovative teaching practices

• A competitive benefits package

The package includes

Initial contracts will be for a two-year fixed term, with the potential for renewal upon mutual agreement.
