The Role
The British International School is a leading educational institution in Belgrade committed to providing high-quality British curriculum education in Serbia. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join our Secondary Branch. As a History Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive history lessons aligned with the UK curriculum, Cambridge IGCSEs and AS/A Level. You will inspire students to develop critical thinking skills, understand historical events and contexts, and appreciate diverse perspectives. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and experience working with secondary school students.

Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in History (minimum requirement)
At least 2 years of teaching experience in secondary/high school settings
Familiarity with the United Kingdom curriculum standards for history
Ability to create dynamic lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
Proficient classroom management techniques
Competence in using technology as an educational tool
