We are currently seeking a Head of Humanities to lead our Social Sciences department at the High/Secondary School level. This Subject Leader position requires an enthusiastic and experienced educator who will inspire students and staff while driving the development of the Humanities curriculum.
Responsibilities include overseeing teaching standards, supporting professional development, coordinating subject planning, and promoting student engagement across all Humanities subjects.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or relevant field
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience within the UK curriculum
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to motivate both students and colleagues
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies
