EYFS Foundation 1 Teacher
Fixed Term Position 2nd November 2026 - 31st August 2027 (with the intention to make permanent)
The governing body and leadership team at St George’s are seeking a committed and talented Foundation 1 teacher to support the school’s drive for excellent learning and teaching. Extensive induction and high-quality CPD will be available for the successful candidate.

The post is initially until 31st August 2027, however, we hope to make this position permanent.
The successful applicant must have the following qualities:
- A commitment to evidence-based practice and delivering high quality teaching and learning.
- Experience of planning and delivering a high-quality curriculum.
- Ability to develop excellent relationships with children, colleagues and parents.
- Commitment to positive behaviour management.
- Ability to work constructively as part of a team (you are one of 3 classes in our Foundation 1 team)
- Willingness to show initiative and commitment to our school.
- Experience of assessment and planning for next steps.
- Willingness to engage in reflective practice.
- Commitment to your professional development.
