ECE Kaiako

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and nurturing kaiako (or teacher in training) to join our team in a part-time role.

This position will primarily be working in our Under 2’s room, supporting our youngest learners during this important stage of development, with one day working alongside our Preschool team.

Days of work: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is qualified or currently studying towards an ECE qualification
• Has a warm, caring approach and enjoys building strong relationships with tamariki and whānau
• Is reliable and committed to being part of a supportive teaching team
• Brings enthusiasm, positivity, and energy to the learning environment
• Values play-based learning and respectful care for infants and toddlers

In this role you will:

• Support the daily care and learning of children in our Under 2’s room
• Contribute to a calm, nurturing, and responsive environment
• Work collaboratively with our teaching team
• Build positive relationships with tamariki, whānau, and colleagues
