About This Role

As a Cross-Curricular Teacher, you will deliver an ambitious and adaptive curriculum that meets the academic, social, emotional and behavioural needs of our students. You will create learning experiences that build confidence, resilience, independence and personal success while preparing students for further education, employment and training.

You will:

  • Teach across a range of curriculum areas within a small-school environment.
  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that remove barriers to learning.
  • Act as a form tutor and champion for a group of young people.
  • Develop strong, trusting relationships with students and families.
  • Support attendance, wellbeing, personal development and positive behaviour.

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Are a qualified teacher with a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people.
  • Have experience working in Alternative Provision, SEND, SEMH or mainstream education.
  • Are interested in moving into Alternative Provision and believe you have the values and mindset to succeed.
  • Understand that behaviour is often a form of communication.
  • Can balance unwavering care with consistently high expectations.
  • Are reflective, resilient and solution-focused.
  • Value teamwork and enjoy working within a close-knit, highly supportive staff team.
  • Believe every young person deserves a fresh start and a champion in their corner.
