Job Description:
The Computer Science Coordinator will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction in IB DP Computer Science, coordinating curriculum development within the department, supporting students’ academic progress, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for fostering student success in computer science.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (minimum requirement)
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in secondary/high school settings
- Experience teaching or coordinating within the IB Diploma Programme preferred
- Strong understanding of computer science concepts including programming, algorithms, data structures, systems architecture, and software development principles
- Ability to design lesson plans that meet curriculum standards while engaging diverse learners
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and staff
- Proficiency with educational technology tools relevant to computer science instruction
- Strong organizational skills with ability to coordinate departmental activities effectively

Compensation

£35,000 - £55,000 (Tax-Free Equivalent)
