The Role
We are seeking high-performing staff for our Primary School.

Outstanding interpersonal skills are a must, along with a desire to innovate and embrace the challenges and delights that will come with being part of an outstanding team. They need to possess excellent organisational and communication skills and be an enthusiastic, energetic and innovative teacher, who is committed to flexible and varied styles of teaching. All academic staff are expected to teach to the highest professional standards and support and uphold the ethos, aims and objectives of the School. Requirements:
A minimum two years’ teaching experience in teaching English to English as a second language students(ESL students).;
Experience of overseas teaching or of teaching international pupils is an advantage;
High level of English proficiency required;
Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child;
The ability and aspiration to attain high standards;
Excellent interpersonal skills, visible through their relations with children, colleagues, parents and other professionals;
A track record of exceptional pastoral care and be able to prioritise the happiness and wellbeing of all students;
Respect for all members of a school community, irrespective of position, gender, age and ethnic background;
A positive and solution-focused attitude to working life;
Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language;
A clean police check and no question regarding suitability to work with children.
The following would be advantageous:
Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities;
Familiarity and/or recent experience with the UK National Curriculum.
Qualifications:
Appropriate degree and teaching qualification in primary education, such as B.Ed. or P.G.C.E./ QTS or equivalent.
Other certificates such as TESOL would be acceptable.
Chinese teaching license would be preferred.
