Hurworth School is seeking to appoint an exceptional Assistant Head Teacher to join our senior leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly effective school leader who is passionate about securing the very best outcomes for young people.
Working closely with the Head Teacher and wider leadership team, you will play a key role in the strategic leadership and operational management of the school, with specific responsibility for leading and securing the Quality of Education across the school. You will drive excellence in teaching and learning, ensure consistently high standards of classroom practice, promote a positive and inclusive school culture, and lead key areas of whole-school improvement.
We are looking for a leader who combines high expectations with the ability to inspire, support and challenge others. You will be an excellent classroom practitioner with a strong understanding of effective teaching and learning and a proven ability to translate ambition into sustained improvement.
