This role requires a leader who will mentor educators, refine systems, and inspire creativity while cultivating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the continuous improvement of the Cambridge Primary program, ensuring it adheres to high academic standards, provides clear pathways for progression, and aligns with both national and international benchmarks.Foster teaching excellence through systematic lesson observations, instructional coaching, and clear academic guidance, promoting consistent and engaging classroom practices.Develop and implement effective academic systems (including planning, assessment, and data usage) to drive measurable and sustained improvements in student performance.Mentor and support educators through targeted professional development, coaching, and collaborative initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous growth and accountability.Ensure that students thrive both academically and personally, promoting their well-being, engagement, and access to meaningful extracurricular and enrichment activities.Work closely with the Principal and leadership team to align academic objectives, contribute to the overall school strategy, and ensure consistent implementation across the Primary School.Required Qualifications & ExperienceA minimum of 3–5 years of leadership experience in a Primary or international school setting.Extensive experience with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum.A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).Proven ability to enhance teaching quality and student outcomes.Experience in lesson observation, coaching, and staff development.Exceptional communication and leadership skills.Full professional proficiency in English.Values & Professional ExpectationsThe Head of Primary is expected to:Demonstrate strong instructional leadership while fostering an inspiring and collaborative culture.Maintain high academic and behavioral standards, balanced with a commitment to student well-being.Support both educators and students in achieving their highest potential.Act with integrity, prioritizing the best interests of students and the school community.Contract DetailsPosition: Full-timeStart Date: August 2026Contract Term: Two-year renewable contractSalary: Competitive, based on experience and qualificationsApplication ProcessInterested candidates should submit:A CVA cover letter detailing their qualifications for the roleContact details for three professional referencesApplications are to be sent to: Apply via the WhatSchool platform.SafeguardingSpectrum International School places a high priority on the safeguarding.
