About This Role

Please note our Business Manager is offering an open tour of the school for prospective candidates on 19th november at 2:30pm

Are you an organised, professional and friendly administrator looking for a rewarding role at the heart of a thriving school community?

Chapel Allerton Primary School is seeking to appoint a dedicated Part-Time School Administrator to join our welcoming team. As the first point of contact for parents, visitors and external agencies, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of our school and helping us deliver the very best experience for our pupils and families.

Working closely with the Headteacher, you will provide high-quality administrative support across all areas of school life. The role includes managing reception duties, responding to enquiries from parents and visitors, maintaining pupil records through the school's management information systems, supporting attendance and admissions processes, coordinating communications with families, and assisting with HR, finance and operational administration. You will also contribute to promoting the school through newsletters, website updates and community communications.

We are looking for a candidate who has excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload whilst working to deadlines. You will possess good literacy and numeracy skills, with GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Mathematics (or equivalent), and demonstrate confidence using Microsoft Office and a range of digital systems. Exceptional communication skills, discretion and a commitment to providing excellent customer service are essential. Experience of working within a school environment would be advantageous but is not essential.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently, use initiative, maintain confidentiality and quickly build positive relationships with pupils, parents, staff and external partners. Above all, you will share our commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and supporting the wellbeing of all children. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dedicated and supportive team within a school that is proud of its welcoming atmosphere and strong community values. Chapel Allerton Primary School was rated "Good" by Ofsted and is recognised as a caring school where staff know pupils well and place their wellbeing at the centre of everything they do.
