At ISH, we foster personal excellence by motivating our students to be curious, connected, and compassionate. Our approach emphasizes student-led inquiry to cultivate curiosity in real-world and challenging scenarios. Students are encouraged to leverage their knowledge and skills to enhance their understanding of concepts across disciplines by forming effective connections with others and their ideas. Through collaborative projects both inside and outside the classroom, our students are equipped to become proactive global citizens.
Educators at ISH uphold these high expectations by embracing the concept of lifelong learning, continually reflecting on their professional practices while also serving as exemplary role models in alignment with the ISH Community Profile.
The Hague is a picturesque city located beyond the sand dunes and boasts miles of pristine beaches. It stands as the only major city in the Netherlands directly on the coast and is often referred to as 'the largest village in Europe,' even as it continues to expand. The city is the seat of the Dutch government and the residence of the Royal Family, featuring a charming historic center and numerous Pleins (squares) ideal for enjoying refreshments. With its stunning architecture, extensive canals, and a well-developed public transport system, The Hague offers a delightful living experience. One of the joys of life here is cycling through the dunes along the coastline, with many staff members opting to bike to school. The city also has a fantastic shopping district and is recognized as one of the top dining destinations in Europe. Notably, The Hague is characterized by its abundance of parks, making it one of the greenest cities in Europe, as well as a safe, welcoming, and relaxing place to live.
If you are internationally minded, eligible to work in the European Union, and eager to contribute to the exciting future of our school, we would be delighted to hear from you.
