Mathematics Teacher

Coruña British International School is a renowned British international institution, distinguished as the first in the city to acquire NABSS (National Association for British Schools in Spain) accreditation. We are on the lookout for a motivated and energetic Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join our team:

REQUIREMENTS

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or a similar quantitative discipline.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an internationally recognized teaching qualification suitable for secondary education.
• Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level, ideally within a British or international school context.
• Strong comprehension of UK curriculum standards for KS3–KS4 Mathematics (with a preference for KS5).
• Capability to deliver clear, organized, and engaging lessons that cater to students of diverse abilities.
• Experience in assessment for learning, monitoring progress, and applying data-driven teaching strategies.
• Expertise in teaching a range of mathematical concepts, including algebra, geometry, statistics, and problem-solving.
• Strong classroom management skills and a talent for creating a positive, supportive learning environment.
• Excellent communication abilities, enabling collaboration with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
• A dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
