About You:
Caister Academy are seeking someone who enjoys working with young people and takes pride in helping them grow. You’ll be the kind of person who notices the small wins, celebrates progress, and believes every student can succeed with the right support. Patience, positivity, and the ability to build trusting relationships will be at the heart of how you work.
You’ll bring experience from an educational setting and feel comfortable supporting learning in a variety of ways, whether that’s guiding a student 1:1, leading a small group, or helping a teacher create an inclusive and purposeful classroom. You’ll be organised, adaptable, and ready to take initiative, while also knowing when to seek guidance from colleagues. Above all, you’ll be someone who wants to make a meaningful difference - supporting vulnerable learners, championing inclusion, and contributing to a team that puts students at the centre of everything it does.
Our Ideal candidate will have:
- GCSE English and Maths, minimum Grade 4 or equivalent
- Proven experience working in an educational environment
- Ability to use initiative and apply sound decision-making skills
- High expectations of self and others
