Our growth strategy is based on our hub model and building the capacity to provide strong support and opportunities to other schools who share our vision.The RoleAs an experienced ICT technician, you will ensure that services are effective, professional, and value for money, while remaining flexible, responsive, and customer focused. You will act as focal point for all IT issues and developments taking place at the site, having oversight of all activities.Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesTo support delivery of a wide range of high-quality IT Services, ensuring an effective, professional, and value for money service for staff and students.To support the development, update and maintenance of an effective ICT infrastructure, including all network hardware and equipmentTo ensure that ICT services operate efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of the Trust and its constituent schoolsTo support the more senior IT Staff in maintaining an up-to-date record of support contracts/service level agreements for ICT, network infrastructure, telephony, printing facilities including any leasing arrangements to ensure efficient and cost effective performance and deployment of appropriate support services.To support the Trust KCSIE obligations through regular testing of Internet filtering systems, working with the Designated Safeguarding Lead and more SeniorIT staff to maintain appropriate documentation.To advise and support staff in ensuring that IT services meet the current and future needs of staff and students.Please see the attached Job Description for full details of the responsibilities and expectations of this role.Please check the Person Specification for the qualifications that are listed as Essential for this role.
