About BASIS Bilingual School Guangzhou

Slated to open in the fall of 2026, BASIS Bilingual School Guangzhou will be the second BASIS school in the city and its inaugural bilingual campus. Located in the Haizhu District, the school enjoys a prime position within the city’s Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Pilot Zone, in proximity to key business and commercial hubs. The school will serve grades from kindergarten through 9 and aims to expand to Grade 12, with a capacity for up to 1,900 students. Facilities will include a lecture hall, library, black box theater, swimming pool, observatory, gymnasiums, laboratories, multifunctional classrooms for arts, music, and innovation, among other state-of-the-art amenities.

As a Kindergarten Teacher at BASIS International, you will foster a learning environment that is both enjoyable and enriching, encouraging children to become passionate, lifelong learners. Our thematic, hands-on, and content-rich curriculum provides a solid foundation for students as they transition to elementary grades. The early childhood classroom is thoughtfully designed to ignite a child's natural curiosity to create, explore, and inquire. Our Early Childhood educators utilize a collaborative, co-teaching approach to enhance student engagement and enrich learning experiences. The Subject Expert Teacher (SET) and Learning Enhancement Teacher (LET) collaborate to introduce concepts, ensuring each student receives thorough subject knowledge, personalized attention, and appropriate engagement.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

• Building meaningful relationships with each student to support their personalized and successful learning journey.

• Guiding students towards academic achievement, personal accountability, and intellectual development.

Who We Are Looking For

• Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in your subject area (Elementary and Early Education degrees are particularly valued for Pre-K through Grade 5).

• Experience: At least two years of experience as the lead teacher in a classroom, a requirement for obtaining a work visa.

• Teamwork: A collaborative mindset, eager to learn from and share knowledge with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
