About you:

We are seeking an exceptional Inclusion Learning Support Assistant to start in August 2026. The ideal candidate will:

• Design and execute activities that support Individual Education Plan (IEP) objectives, adhere to structured literacy intervention programs, and communicate student progress and outcomes to parents and teachers effectively.

• Provide in-class support during lessons to ensure effective access to differentiated learning.

• Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to enhance student learning, particularly for those with special educational needs or learning barriers.

• Promote an inclusive environment that fosters acceptance for all students.

• Provide feedback to students about their progress and accomplishments, guided by teachers.

• Monitor, maintain, and review records of student progress over time and assist teachers in planning future learning based on individual needs.

• Maintain the learning environment and create appropriate resources for students.

• Implement strategies to build students’ self-esteem, self-confidence, and independence.

• Collaborate with the Inclusion Team, accessing relevant training and attending parent review meetings as needed.

Job Specification:

• Applicants must have a GCSE in English or an equivalent qualification and possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Relevant qualifications and/or completed training in education and special educational needs are required.

• Previous experience in a support role in a school setting is preferred.

• Working hours are from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

• A strong work ethic and a commitment to confidentiality for staff and students are essential.

• Good organizational and interpersonal skills are necessary. Familiarity with inclusive pedagogies is an advantage.

• Knowledge of special educational needs (SEND) is beneficial.
