About This Role

Repton Dubai Junior Phase is in search of an inspiring and skilled Class Teacher to commence in August 2026.

The Class Teacher will collaborate on planning, teaching, and assessing the subjects assigned to them.

Skills, Experience & Responsibilities:

Continuously assess and enhance the effectiveness of personal teaching to uphold high standards and facilitate student progression.

Critically evaluate one’s own teaching to improve effectiveness.

Engage in peer observations of colleagues as necessary and participate in observations by peers.

Provide books, records, or planning for colleagues or SLT monitoring as required.

Mark, monitor, and set progress targets for students’ work regularly.

Systematically assess and record students' progress, maintaining accurate records.

Ensure understanding and completion of work, identifying strengths and weaknesses.

Inform planning based on student achievement levels.

Conduct student assessments as per departmental and school procedures.

Prepare and deliver informative reports to parents.

Regularly assess student work through formal and informal termly and unit-end assessments as directed by SLT.

Communicate with the school Inclusion Team and Head of School regarding any students whose progress or behavior raises concerns.

Successful candidates will possess:

A Bachelor’s of Education or PGCE with a relevant specialization, OR

A Bachelor’s degree in a subject relevant to the teaching specialization, complemented by a PGCE in Primary Education.

Experience in teaching within a UK setting or a reputable British Curriculum/international school.

Relevant experience that enables contributions to our school enrichment program.

A minimum of two years of post-qualification experience is preferred.

Compensation
