Wuhan Ulink College of China Optics Valley (Ulink Wuhan School) is an emerging educational institution established in August 2014. As an authorized center for Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), we provide IGCSE/A-Level programs tailored for Chinese students aged 14-19. Affiliated with Ulink Education Group—the pioneer in introducing Cambridge A-Level programs to China 15 years ago—our institution is part of a network that includes campuses in Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, Suzhou, and Wuhan. To date, Ulink Education Group has celebrated over 3000 graduates, among whom more than 130 have gained admission to prestigious universities such as Oxbridge. We proudly hold the distinction of being the only school in China recognized by CAIE with the Excellence in Education award (formerly CIE). At Ulink College Wuhan, we focus on fostering a student-centered approach that promotes holistic development and prepares students for an international lifestyle. Although we have a small number of graduates, they have been accepted into some of the world’s top universities, including the University of Oxford, Imperial College, University College London (UCL), University of Warwick in the UK, McGill University, University of Toronto, and the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Canada, as well as Australian National University, Melbourne University, and the University of Sydney in Australia. Located in Wuhan, a city in central China, we benefit from 4-5 hour high-speed train access to major cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Chengdu. Wuhan boasts a rich cultural heritage, combining ancient history with modern vitality, and offers stunning landscapes alongside numerous historical and cultural sites. Notable attractions include the Three Gorges Dam, the world's largest hydroelectric project, Shennongjia Mountain, recognized by UNESCO’s Man and Biosphere program, and Wudang Mountain, listed as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage site. Upon your arrival in Wuhan, our dedicated administration team will assist you in settling in and will provide ongoing support throughout your stay to facilitate a smooth transition. We place a strong emphasis on the professional development of our teachers. All newly recruited educators will receive a complimentary Cambridge teacher account for access to valuable teaching resources. For those new to the Cambridge system, we offer opportunities for online and in-person training sessions. Experienced Cambridge teachers will have the chance to participate in advanced CAIE training. We are in the process of becoming a PDQ center for CAIE, enabling us to provide Cambridge’s teaching training and development programs on-site. As part of Ulink Education Group, our teachers will also have the opportunity to share ideas, experiences, and resources with colleagues from other Ulink schools. As a dynamic and growing school, we currently have 260 students and anticipate reaching 300 soon. This expansion offers significant opportunities for career advancement. Seasoned teachers may take on mentor or trainer roles, while those aspiring to leadership positions will find chances to become heads of departments or step into senior administrative roles.
