About This Role
Al Rabeeh Academy is on the lookout for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and flexible Secondary Art Teacher to join our team starting January 2025.
Opened in August 2017, Al Rabeeh Academy is a state-of-the-art establishment that is part of an expanding network of schools. Our bilingual private school caters to students from FS1 to Year 13, delivering both the English National Curriculum and Arabic. We are seeking candidates who are passionate about education and possess the energy and commitment to contribute to the growth of Al Rabeeh Academy, with potential for internal advancement as the academy evolves.
Successful applicants must align with the values and ethos of Al Rabeeh Academy, which serves a significant population of Arabic-speaking students. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, adept at fostering open dialogue with students, staff, and parents. Leading by example and actively participating in the Academy’s extracurricular activities is essential.
Candidates must be fluent in English, possess a relevant degree and teaching qualification, and have at least two years of experience in schools that follow the National Curriculum of England.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:
- In-depth subject knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Familiarity with current UK initiatives and developments in Art
- Capability and willingness to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Strong classroom management skills and exceptional subject knowledge
- Ability to support creative learning and focus on fostering 21st-century learning environments and innovation skills
- Proficiency in utilizing IT to enhance and extend student learning experiences
- Experience using data from internal assessments, standardized tests, and external assessments to monitor student progress
- Essential experience in teaching EAL students
