Job Title: Midday Assistant - SEND
Contract: Fixed Term until 31st August 2027
Hours per week: 7 hours 30 minutes per week
Scale: Scale 2, Point 4-5 (depending on qualifications and experience)
Actual Salary: £4,259.12 - £4,326.42
Start Date: ASAP following interviews

Do you enjoy working with children and making a difference in their day? Parkwood Academy, part of the South Essex Academy Trust (SEAT) is looking for a caring, patient and adaptable Midday Assistant (SEND) to join our warm and supportive team!
At SEAT, we believe in belonging, compassion, curiosity, and empowerment—values that shape our commitment to excellence in education. In this role, you will supervise and support our pupils during lunchtime and ensure a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment both indoors and outdoors.
You will be working 11:30am - 1:00pm Monday to Friday, term time only.
