Full time, Term-Time Only, Permanent Contract (Primary Phase)

Salary - Commencing at £29,778 per annum, Full Time Equivalent. This is an actual salary for Term Time Only of £25,694.84 per annum.

Thank you for your interest in this Lead Inclusion Practitioner position in the Primary Phase at William Hulme’s Grammar School (WHGS). This is a permanent, term-time only, support staff role overseeing our Inclusion Hub and supporting pupils with SEND, particularly those with communication and interaction needs. The Hub currently works primarily with pupils in EYFS and Key Stage 1, with provision adapting over time in response to the needs of individual cohorts.

We are looking for a caring, resilient and knowledgeable practitioner who is passionate about inclusive education and helping children overcome barriers to learning. You will play a key role in delivering targeted support, developing pupils’ communication, independence and engagement, and working alongside staff to strengthen inclusive practice across the school. Experience of working with children with SEND in a specialist provision, Inclusion Hub or similar setting is essential, along with a strong understanding of EYFS and/or Key Stage 1 practice. You must be able to work effectively as part of a supportive team, communicate confidently with families and professionals, and maintain a calm, proactive and solution-focused approach when supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.
