Are you an enthusiastic and committed Design Technology (Product Design) specialist looking for new and exciting challenges? If so, Southchurch High School could be your next career move. We are seeking an outstanding, ambitious, talented and passionate Design Technology teacher to join our committed team of practitioners in delivering a curriculum which informs, transforms and generates a lifelong love of learning.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly, supportive and hard-working Technology department where you will play a vital role in fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and to help instil a love for all aspects of Design Technology among our students.

We would encourage applications from ECTs looking to secure a good, supportive school to complete their ECT journey, or someone early on in their career. It is essential for candidates to be able to teach Design Technology at KS3/4 and Construction at KS4.

Southchurch High School is a rapidly improving, expanding, secondary school in Southend-on-Sea. The ideal candidate will enjoy the challenge of teaching well-behaved, enthusiastic and able students in a happy and supportive environment. You will have the ability, drive and enthusiasm to make a difference to students and young people from the Southend-on-Sea area.
