About This Role

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and inclusive team in our SEMH Nest provision at Christ Church & St Peter's CE Primary School. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children in achieving their full potential, both academically and personally, within our nurturing and ambitious school community.

Working under the direction of our class teacher, you will provide support for teaching and learning in the Nest, working with individual pupils and small groups. You will help create a positive, safe and engaging learning environment, supporting children's educational, social, emotional and mental health development.

The successful candidate will be passionate about inclusion, committed to helping every child thrive, and able to build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues. Experience of supporting children with additional needs, including SEND and EHCPs, would be advantageous.

At Christ Church & St Peter's, guided by our vision of "Aiming high, caring for everyone," you will become part of a supportive school family that values teamwork, professional development and making a difference in the lives of children every day.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, patient and committed to supporting children's learning and wellbeing. The successful candidate will build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families, promote high expectations and inclusion for all children, and work effectively as part of a team while also using their initiative when required. They will be keen to contribute to the wider life of our school community and share our commitment to helping every child succeed.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a vibrant primary school where children are encouraged to discover what is possible, develop independence and flourish both in and beyond the classroom.
