Essential Requirements


A minimum of 2 years of recent, successful teaching experience


Graduate-level qualified teacher status


Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area


Qualified Teacher Status, along with evidence of pertinent in-service training


Demonstrated experience working with the age group you will be teaching


Proven capability to motivate students within an engaging learning environment


Experience in leveraging ICT to enhance the learning experience

Desirable


A Master’s degree is advantageous


Experience in teaching EAL (English as an Additional Language) students


Familiarity with IGCSE and A Level teaching


Background in an international school setting and understanding of the British education framework


Demonstrated ability to set clear goals and objectives for students, leading to significant improvements in achievement across subjects


Knowledge of positive behavior management strategies


Understanding of child development and its impact on behavior


Potential for a Head of Year position for candidates with suitable experience
