ABOUT THE COMMUNITY
Cranberry Portage Elementary School caters to students from Nursery through Grade 8, with an enrollment of approximately 85 learners, located in Cranberry Portage, Manitoba. This charming community, characterized by its “cottage country” ambiance, is home to around 1,000 residents and is situated 50 km south of Flin Flon. Essential amenities in the area include a gas station, a health center with ambulance services, a community recreation center, an arena, and regular air transport to Flin Flon and The Pas.

WHAT YOU BRING
• A Bachelor of Education Degree and a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for one).
• A Master’s degree in education/administration and/or a Certificate in School Leadership is preferred.
• At least five years of teaching experience along with five years of administrative experience.
• A proven ability to develop and implement both short-term and long-term strategies for school improvement.
• A strong understanding of school-based technology and its usage.
• Familiarity with Indigenous Ways of Life is a valuable asset.
• Experience in a northern community is also considered advantageous.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
