Job Overview:
As a PYP Homeroom Teacher, your primary responsibility will be to create a supportive and engaging classroom environment that encourages inquiry-based learning in alignment with the IB PYP framework. You will play a vital role in the academic, social, and emotional development of students while collaborating with other educators to deliver a well-rounded educational experience.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field (minimum requirement)
- Previous teaching experience is not a prerequisite; a genuine enthusiasm for teaching young learners is essential
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Japanese is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to plan and implement inquiry-based lessons that meet IB PYP curriculum standards
- Strong classroom management skills, demonstrating patience and adaptability
- A collaborative mindset, eager to contribute to a diverse international team
