About This Role

Purpose of Role

The ISP Teacher plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality education to students while fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities of the ISP Teacher

  • Develop lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and established standards.
  • Adapt and assess lesson plans to meet the specific needs of students, comply with newly implemented regulations, refresh necessary information, and incorporate recent educational developments.
  • Customize the curriculum to suit student needs while ensuring overall class advancement.
  • Maintain and enhance a thorough understanding of curriculum programs and frameworks.
  • Assess and document student progress, identifying areas that require focus and improvement.
  • Create a safe and positive learning environment for students.
  • Collaborate with all staff members involved with student education.
  • Communicate regularly with parents in line with school policies, providing updates on student progress and informing them of any necessary disciplinary measures.
  • Support a diverse array of student abilities.
  • Maintain discipline and order among students while ensuring safety and compliance with school rules and policies.
  • Participate in professional development workshops as needed.
  • Attend school meetings concerning curriculum, organization, and guidelines.
  • Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as reasonably assigned by your direct supervisor or the Deputy Head.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Candidates must be native speakers with a valid passport from the US, UK, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, or South Africa.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a Bachelor of Arts, along with an internationally recognized teaching certification such as PGCE/PGCertEd/QTS.
  • A minimum of three years of international teaching experience at the primary level is preferred.
  • A clean criminal record is required.
