Te Whānau Tahi (The United Family) is the name of the school's marae and kapa haka group, reflecting the core intent and identity as a unified, embracing community, including whānau/families. The kura values are whanaungatanga, manaakitanga, rangitiratanga, kotahitanga, and pumanawatanga, emphasizing engagement and achievement of all students using a Māori philosophy.
