View Full School Profile & VacanciesAbout the Role: We are looking for a full-time Learning Support Assistant for our BSB Maresme campus. The ideal candidate will assist in the educational and social development of students under the direction of the Headteacher and class teachers.
As a Learning Support Assistant at BSB, you will be part of the Learning Support Team. You will be expected to demonstrate a knowledgeable and effective approach to teaching and learning by implementing suitable strategies to support teachers and enhance the achievement of all students, including those with additional educational needs and disabilities.
The successful Learning Support Assistant should have a proven history of:
• Understanding how young children learn most effectively.
• Communicating effectively and sensitively with students to address their needs and facilitate their learning.
• Contributing to effective assessment and planning by assisting in monitoring, recording, and reporting on student performance and progress as required by the role.
• Knowing each individual child and aiding teachers in tailoring teaching methods to cater to each pupil's specific needs.
• Maintaining an engaging and inspiring learning environment.
• Prioritizing well-being in all aspects of our provision.
• Demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
• Committing to ongoing professional development.
Who We Are Looking For:
We require candidates to possess:
• An education-related qualification with at least a C Grade in Maths and English GCSE – or the Spanish equivalent.
• A qualification related to SEND or child development is preferable.
