About This Role
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Learning Support Assistant to join us in a dynamic and rewarding role, working alongside teachers to support pupils across a range of subjects and abilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people, building positive relationships, and contributing to a structured yet energetic learning environment. In this role, you will play a key part in helping students overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and achieve their potential, making a meaningful difference to their lives and the wider community.
We are seeking to appoint a committed, compassionate and highly motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our Inclusion Department.

Working closely with teaching staff, the SEND team and pastoral colleagues, you will provide targeted support within lessons, small group interventions and on a one-to-one basis. You will help students overcome barriers to learning, build confidence and independence, and achieve their full potential both academically and personally.
You will contribute to maintaining a calm, focused learning environment and support effective behaviour management. Your patience, adaptability, and proactive approach will help ensure all pupils can achieve their full potential, both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:

- Delivering targeted interventions and personalised support programmes.
- Supporting students with SEND, SEMH, C&L and other barriers to learning.

- Monitoring, recording and reporting on student progress and achievement.
- Building positive relationships with students, families and colleagues to support student success.
- Working collaboratively with teaching, pastoral and SEND teams to remove barriers to learning and raise attainment.
- If you are passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people and want to be part of a supportive and ambitious Inclusion team, we would love to hear from you.
Why join us?
- A diverse, hands-on role at the centre of a dynamic and busy school
- The opportunity to collaborate closely with staff and pupils across the wider school community
- A supportive team environment with a clear sense of shared purpose
- The chance to make a meaningful and visible contribution to the day-to-day operation of the school
