KITCHEN MANAGER

ABOUT US:

We are a very popular and vibrant 3 form entry primary school on the Hertfordshire / Luton border. We have invested heavily to ensure that this is a quality learning environment for the children and a wonderful workplace for the whole staff. We are continually developing our culture so that we can embed excellence at all levels.

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen team and provide our children and staff with inspiring, healthy and nutritious menus, with food that meets all government guidelines and inspires our school community to come back for more.

In order to do this, you will:

• Hold a Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate or equivalent.
• Have experience in working in large scale industrial catering or similar, and have experience in kitchen management
• Be able to effectively manage budgets, stocks orders, menu planning, dealing with suppliers.
• Be able to effectively run a small team, ensuring clear communication and cohesion
• Ensure that methods of preparation and presentation comply with current recognised catering standards and food safety legislation

Hours of work at 7.00 am to 2.00 pm, Monday to Friday.
