We are seeking to appoint a proactive, committed and efficient Administration Assistant with Attendance Officer responsibilities to join our friendly team at Bishop’s Church of England Primary Academy.
The Administration Assistant role supports the effective management and delivery of the school’s administrative, financial, technical and clerical services to a high standard, supporting the schools’ pupils, parents, external partners and school colleagues. For the Attendance Officer responsibilities this means proactively enacting the Academy’s attendance policy by communicating with parents and carers and interaction with pupils.
The Bishop’s Church of England Primary Academy is also recruiting for an School Secretary, if you would like to be considered for this role additionally, then please include a sentence in your personal statement detailing your preference.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in an educational or general administrative or safeguarding role
- Is highly organised, accurate and able to prioritise workload
- Has excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Can communicates effectively with staff, parents and external partners
- Works with integrity and maintains confidentiality
- Is enthusiastic about contributing to the life of a busy primary school
Working Hours
The ideal working pattern Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:00 with a ½ hour unpaid break. Total 37 hours split 27 hours Administrative Assistant and 10 hours Attendance Officer responsibilities.
