About This Role

Salford City Academy is in search of an outstanding leader who possesses a strong presence and a steadfast dedication to maintaining the highest standards of behavior. This position is ideal for an individual capable of effectively managing complex and challenging student dynamics, establishing clear expectations, and exemplifying the calm, consistent professionalism we uphold within our academy. You should be adept at leading behavior management in high-pressure situations and maintaining a strong, visible role in our isolation room (Reflect), ensuring that students are re-engaged, supported, and held to the highest standards.

We are seeking a strategic innovator who can develop and execute a new approach to Alternative Provision. You will lead with clarity and determination, creating systems, structures, and a curriculum that guarantees our most vulnerable learners receive the support, challenge, and opportunities they deserve. Your extensive expertise in behavior leadership, along with your ability to coach, develop, and motivate others, will be key to fostering disruption-free learning every day.

Building relationships is vital in our community. You will cultivate strong, trusting connections with students, families, staff, and external agencies, always in alignment with our REACT values of responsibility, excellence, aspiration, commitment, and teamwork.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to create a transformational impact: to establish a high-impact Alternative Provision model, promote exceptional behavior standards, and ensure that every child at Salford City Academy learns in a calm, purposeful environment where they can thrive.

If you are motivated, resilient, and passionate about influencing behavior culture on a whole-school level, we would love to hear from you.
