The ideal candidate will support students' academic, personal, and creative development while fostering a love for visual arts and self-expression.
Requirements:
● A Bachelor’s degree in Art, Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field, along with recognized Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
● At least 2 years of successful teaching experience, preferably in a British-curriculum international setting.
● Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Art and Design.
● Demonstrated ability to create engaging, hands-on, and skill-focused art lessons.
● Competence in effective classroom management, ensuring a safe and organized studio environment.
● Ability to evaluate creative work accurately and provide constructive feedback.
● Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Job Description:
● Develop and deliver high-quality Art lessons aligned with National Curriculum standards.
● Enhance students' artistic abilities, creativity, and critical appreciation of art.
● Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-equipped art studio.
● Assess, monitor, and document student progress, providing prompt feedback and support.
● Organize and engage in art displays, exhibitions, and creative projects throughout the school year.
● Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and well-being.
● Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular projects and school-wide events.
● Encourage students’ confidence, independence, and creative expression.
● Attend weekly professional development sessions and commit to ongoing learning.
● Participate in enrichment initiatives such as art clubs or community art projects.
