About This Role

Dubai Heights Academy is a friendly and inviting workplace located in the Al Barsha South district of Dubai, presenting an exciting opportunity to become part of our team.

Established in 2017, our school delivers an inclusive, engaging, and exceptional education to a diverse group of students from FS1 to Year 12 (2025-2026) and is set to expand organically to Year 13.

Our campus features cutting-edge facilities with distinct buildings for each educational phase, alongside a 380-seat auditorium. Amenities include three temperature-controlled swimming pools, fully equipped science and computer labs, specialized rooms for art, DT, music, and drama, a library, two multi-purpose sports halls, a full-size football field, various outdoor play areas, and a spacious cafeteria. Spanning 292,000 sqft, our campus includes three dedicated buildings for different phases, and we are excited about the recent launch of our new secondary building in August 2025, representing our most ambitious initiative to date.

Dubai Heights Academy offers a curriculum designed to cater to the diverse needs of our students, based on the National Curriculum for England. This curriculum has been customized to meet local requirements and includes additional subjects such as Arabic language, Islamic Studies, Moral Education, and Social Studies. Moreover, we have partnered with MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) to create and implement a tailored AI (artificial intelligence) project-based program for secondary students and an early language initiative utilizing social robots for Primary, enhancing our well-rounded curriculum.

Job Overview

Dubai Heights Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Data Administrator to play a vital role in our school’s success.

iSAMS Administration & Database Support Tasks (not limited to)

Manage and enhance the iSAMS system.


Handle daily database operations, user permissions, module management, and ensure data integrity.


Conduct annual iSAMS rollovers and configure the academic year.


Oversee assessment tracking, gradebooks, report templates, and data exports.


Offer first-line support and guidance to staff utilizing iSAMS.


Enhance the parent portal experience.

Assessment Coordination & Data Management

Oversee the administration of mandatory and standardized assessments, including but not limited to:


CAT4


PTE, PTM, PTS


NGRT


ABT and IBT assessments


Manage data imports, validation, and reporting of assessment results.


Maintain precise baseline, attainment, and progress tracking systems.


Generate assessment analyses to assist academic leaders.


Create assessment data tracking and live dashboards.

Educational Platforms Administration

Administer and manage educational platforms such as:


Seesaw


Kerboodle


ActiveLearn


White Rose


Oversee system setup, class assignments, data synchronization, rollovers, and user access.


Ensure consistency between academic systems and reporting frameworks.

CRM & Student Data Systems

Assist in managing the OpenApply CRM platform.


Ensure accurate student data and facilitate system integration.


Aid in admissions reporting and data reconciliation.

Admissions & Operations Support

Collaborate with Admissions to ensure alignment of student numbers across all database systems.


Assist in generating timetables and class lists.


Manage student digital records.


Oversee attendance data management.

Regulatory Compliance & Inspection Readiness

Prepare and submit student census data for KHDA.


Maintain databases that are accurate and inspection-ready.


Support the preparation of data reports and analyses for KHDA inspections.


Ensure compliance with UAE data protection regulations and school policies.

Data Reporting & Analysis

Gather and compile relevant departmental data.


Generate academic data reports for SLT and Heads of Department.


Maintain tracking dashboards for attainment and progress.


Support initiatives aimed at school improvement driven by data under the guidance of the Data Manager.

Systems Development & Operational Support

Assist the Data Manager in developing and refining academic data architecture.


Facilitate integration between platforms and automate data processes.


Coordinate with external providers to resolve technical issues as necessary.

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.


Formal training or certification in iSAMS (or substantial demonstrable experience as a system administrator).

Essential Experience

A minimum of 2–3 years’ experience working with MIS systems in an educational setting (preferably iSAMS).


Experience in administering and analyzing standardized assessments (e.g., CAT4, PTE, PTM, PTS, NGRT, ABT, IBT).


Proficient in managing academic databases and student information systems.


Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and reporting).


Experience in preparing regulatory or census reports (e.g., KHDA or equivalent authority).


Preferred knowledge and experience with Power BI or similar platforms.

Essential
