About This Role
The Role
The Subject Teacher will report directly to the Head of Department and play a key role in advancing the subject across all grade levels within the school. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational capabilities and will be an enthusiastic, dynamic, and innovative educator who embraces diverse teaching methodologies and aligns with the objectives of this bilingual institution.
The successful applicant will join a growing team of specialized subject teachers, which will expand significantly as enrollment numbers rise. He/she will be actively engaged in the subject's development throughout the entire school.

Qualifications:
•
A high-quality degree with a focus on the relevant subject as either the sole or primary area of study
•
A recognized teaching qualification
•
A minimum of two years’ teaching experience
Requirements:
•
Native-level proficiency in English;
•
At least two years of experience teaching the subject, with the ability to instruct students aged 11-18;
•
Strong communication skills in English with students, colleagues, and parents, with the ability to provide interpretation into Chinese when necessary, fostering robust relationships within the school community;
•
Collaborative working style;
•
Proficiency in utilizing various teaching resources, including digital tools, to enhance the educational experience;
•
Cultural sensitivity towards the diverse backgrounds present in China and a commitment to maintaining a cross-cultural approach in the workplace;
•
A dedication to contributing to the broader school community and student life outside of regular academic hours, including involvement in academic enrichment and co-curricular activities;
•
Experience with A-Level or IGCSE students is advantageous.
