About This Role

Aldar Education is currently on the lookout for an exceptional Teacher - Mathematics for Noya British School in Abu Dhabi, set to begin in the Academic Year AY2026/27.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Fostering positive relationships with all members of the school community.

• Collaborating with fellow educators to design engaging lessons that adhere to curriculum standards.

• Communicating effectively with colleagues and demonstrating flexibility in teamwork.

• Partnering with curriculum support staff (when applicable) to enhance children’s development.

Specific Duties:

Teaching and Learning:

• A solid understanding of the Curriculum.

• Organizing classroom resources and learning materials while creating displays that foster a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.

• Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons tailored to accommodate the full range of abilities in the class.

• Inspiring pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative teaching.

• Observing and assessing students in accordance with school assessments.

Assessment and Data:

• Taking responsibility for the academic progress of a class.

• Meeting the requirements for assessing and recording student development through Target Tracker.

• Utilizing assessment data to guide future planning, provision, and interventions.

• Providing updates to parents and guardians on student progress during Parent Teacher Conferences and other meetings.

Behaviour Management and Duties:

• Adhering to the school’s behaviour policy.

• Effectively managing classrooms using strategies suited to students' needs to inspire, motivate, and challenge them.

• Performing duties as directed in line with school policy.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject with a PGCE or another teacher qualification.

Minimum Experience:

• At least 1-2 years of teaching experience.

Job Specifics, Knowledge & Skills:

• Experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.

• A strong passion for teaching and a commitment to the holistic development of students.

• A high level of professionalism and a focus on the well-being of children.

• Recent and consistent participation in extracurricular activities.

• Respect for all members of the school community, regardless of position, gender, age, or ethnic background.

• A positive, solution-oriented attitude toward work.

• A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police clearance.
