About This Role

Line Manager: Vice Principal

The Role

The Assistant Principal (Extension) (APX) is a comprehensive role within the school, directly reporting to the Executive Principal through the Vice Principal. This position will oversee the Heads of Whole-School Faculties, which include Visual Arts, Performing Arts, and Sport & Exercise, along with staff designated to lead Libraries & Research, Enrichment (covering ECAs, Trips, Expeditions & Experiential Learning), and Scholars. As student enrollment grows, the team will expand to include leadership in Examinations, Data Tracking, Higher Education & Careers Counselling, and the Alumni Network in the future.

The primary objective of this role is to spearhead, advocate for, and enhance all initiatives and programs that broaden the learning experiences of students beyond the standard academic curriculum. Key areas of responsibility encompass:

Person Specification

The position of APX holds significant importance within the School, and the ideal candidate will:

® possess leadership experience in an educational setting, showcasing potential for higher leadership roles

Compensation

$5,000 - $5,500 per month (competitive compensation package, including monthly salary, housing allowance, annual flight allowance, high-end medical insurance, visa sponsorship, full pay vacations.)
