This is a unique opportunity to become part of the founding team at Shrewsbury International School Phnom Penh, recognized as “a school like no other in Cambodia,” and to leave your imprint from the very start at our new campus.

Why Choose Shrewsbury Phnom Penh?

Shrewsbury Phnom Penh offers a British primary education (National Curriculum for England) for students aged 3–18. We belong to the Shrewsbury family of schools, linked to one of the UK’s most esteemed institutions, boasting nearly 500 years of academic excellence and notable alumni, such as Charles Darwin. Our Early Years program commenced in the iconic Flatiron building in August 2022, our purpose-built Primary campus is set to open in September 2024, and a new 7-hectare all-through campus is scheduled to launch in September 2026.

At Shrewsbury Phnom Penh, we take learning seriously while ensuring it's enjoyable. Our mission is to educate and empower students, equipping them to thrive in life and positively impact the world. We prioritize character development, inner virtues, and the essential skills that prepare young individuals for meaningful success.

The Position

Experience in thematic, inquiry-based teaching that fosters curiosity, creativity, and collaboration.

Proficiency in using formative and summative assessments and progress data to guide instruction.

Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

A positive, adaptable mindset and a “roll-up-your-sleeves” approach suited for a developing school environment.

UK-recognized teaching credentials (e.g., QTS/EYTS). We strongly encourage teachers with recent UK experience to apply.

We Offer:

Small class sizes with engaged students.

A collaborative, supportive atmosphere that emphasizes staff wellbeing.
