Essential Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of recent, successful teaching experience
  • A graduate-qualified teacher
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area
  • Possession of Qualified Teacher Status along with proof of relevant in-service training
  • Demonstrated experience working with students in the appropriate age range for this role
  • Evidence of the ability to motivate students within a stimulating learning environment
  • Experience in leveraging ICT to enhance the educational experience

Desirable

  • A master's degree would be beneficial
  • Experience in teaching EAL (English as an Additional Language) students
  • Experience in delivering IGCSE and A Level courses
  • Previous experience in an international school setting and knowledge of the British education system
  • Proven ability to establish clear goals and objectives for students, leading to significant improvements in academic performance
  • Familiarity with positive disciplinary techniques
  • Understanding of child development and its impact on behavior
  • Potential for a Head of Year position for candidates with relevant experience

Compensation
