We are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our Nest specialist provision, supporting children who at times may find the main classroom environment overwhelming.

The Nest provides a nurturing, structured space where children can feel safe, supported and ready to re‑engage with learning. You will work as part of a dedicated team of teachers and teaching assistants, helping to support pupils’ academic, emotional and social development.

The role will include:

  • Supporting children within the Nest provision

  • Lunchtime duties and supporting children during unstructured times

This is a temporary contract initially until the end of the academic year, with the potential to be extended subject to needs and funding.

We are looking for someone who is patient, flexible and committed to making a positive difference to children’s wellbeing and learning. Experience of working with children with additional needs would be beneficial, but most important is a warm, nurturing approach and a willingness to learn.

If you are passionate about supporting children and would like to be part of a friendly, supportive team, we would love to hear from you.

You will be required to undertake employment checks, including an enhanced DBS with a children’s barred list check, prior to the start of this role.
