Teaching Assistant Level 1

St Mary’s RC Primary School are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant, Level 1. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust at the beginning of a journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi-academy trust.

The post-holder will be required to support our pupils under the direction of the class teacher. It is essential that any new member of staff share our aims and high expectations of all children. The successful candidate would need to be able to work effectively as part of a team and independently, using their own initiative. They will demonstrate a commitment to promote children’s achievement.

We are seeking an individual who has:

• Has experience of supporting pupils.
• Is willing to support pupils with complex Special Educational Needs.
• Has a clear understanding of the Catholic faith and be willing to uphold the school's ethos and values.
• Foster effective relationships with all stakeholders
