Teaching assistant

• Hours of work: 8.30am - 3.30pm
• Working pattern: Monday - Friday (Term time only)
• Salary: £25,898 FTE (£16,636.37 actual)

The successful candidate will:

• Be a good communicator committed to being part of an effective support team within the whole school community

• Key Responsibilities

  • Support teaching and learning activities within the classroom.
  • Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning.
  • Assist in the preparation of classroom resources and learning environments.
  • Help pupils with varying educational, social and emotional needs.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and support the school's values and expectations.
  • Contribute to pupil progress through observation and feedback to teachers.
  • Assist with supervision during break and lunchtime, where required.

  Candidates must have relevant experience in school setting/hold relevant TA qualifications.
