The Role


Cambridge High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to join our science faculty, specializing in physics. This is a full-time fixed-term position starting on 20 July to cover a long-term maternity leave vacancy of 18 months.


Key Responsibilities



  • Deliver engaging and effective science lessons with a focus on physics.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience.

  • Utilize blended e-learning opportunities and adapt to upcoming curriculum changes.

  • Support students in achieving their academic goals.


Qualifications



  • Certificated teacher with experience in secondary education (Years 7–15).

  • Understanding of NCEA assessment is advantageous.

  • Open to beginning teachers.


What We Offer


We offer a supportive and collegial environment where teachers can thrive and make a positive impact on students' learning. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $61,329 to $103,086, depending on qualifications and experience.
